Aww, thank you for the feature! This just made my day! š„° I have never tried the pink drink. I'm not a huge fan of coconut milk, but this white cranberry strawberry juice seems like it may mellow it out. What do you think? Also, my sister and I buddy read Tom Lake. I felt the same way about the daughters -- they were doing too much to be that grown. šš¤£ I started listening to the audiobook about a third way through the book, and I really wished I listened to it for the entirety. Meryl Streep really bought it to life and made the story for me.
I'm so glad I could make your day! Since you don't like coconut milk, I would find a friend who does and maybe try them together. That way, if you don't dig it, you can gift the milk to someone who will have it. I have some friends who don't like coconut who still like the drink, but it totally depends. I'm SO glad I wasn't alone on Tom Lake. I feel like almost everyone has had glowing reviews. I really enjoy Ann Patchett's work but the daughters kind of killed it for me. Meryl Streep is such a talented narrator!
That's a good idea! I HATE the idea of wasting anything with these inflated prices š¤£ But yes, I was very underwhelmed with Tom Lake. You're not alone lol.
Your summer is so dreamy Kayla! Iām such a huge fan of pink drinks and making one from home sounds incredible! I love that youāre tending to a garden as a nod to your father, and Iām the same way ā I love everything David (Dan Levy) creates too ā¤ļø
It's been a slow summer to savor, although it's had plenty of busy spurts as this season often does. I highly recommend making your pink drinks at home! So much more control over their quality and sweetness. Gardening has been a joy, and The Big Brunch must be on your to-watch list. What else are you loving this summer?
Iām excited because Iāll be sharing a post soon about some things Iām enjoying this summer! But particularly Iāve been enjoying splash pads with my baby and watching Bluey with her š
I've heard great things about Bluey! Oh, how motherhood shifts where time goesāoften in the most beautiful ways. I'm so happy to hear a sneak peek of some of the things you've been enjoying!
